Logo-Design für die Wissensplattform „CrossArea”
In Zusammenarbeit mit der Universität Leipzig und grafikbuero entsteht unter dem Namen „CrossArea – Knowledge Portal & Network“ eine innovative neue Wissensplattform im Bereich Area Studies. Sie verknüpft Themen und Disziplinen, um interdisziplinäre Erkenntnisse und Kooperationen zu ermöglichen und zu fördern. Ziel ist es, einen zentralen Ort für wissenschaftliche Beiträge zu schaffen und diese Beiträge durch verschiedene übergeordnete Perspektiven in neue Zusammenhänge bringt.
grafikbuero entwickelte neben dem UX/UI-Design der Plattform auch das Logo. Seine Dreiteiligkeit spiegelt das Motto der Plattform wider: „Explore. Share. Connect.
Das Logo symbolisiert zudem Dynamik. Diese entsteht einerseits durch die Neuordnung und Neusortierung von Themen und Beiträgen und andererseits durch die Vernetzungsmöglichkeiten von Personen und Institutionen, die die Plattform bietet.
Die Umsetzung der Plattform pausiert im Moment aus organisatorischen Gründen.
In collaboration with the University of Leipzig and grafikbuero, an innovative new knowledge platform in the field of Area Studies is being developed under the name “CrossArea – Knowledge Portal & Network”. It links topics and disciplines to facilitate and promote interdisciplinary insights and collaboration. The aim is to create a central hub for academic contributions by bringing them into new contexts through diverse perspectives.
In addition to the platform’s UX/UI design, grafikbuero also developed the logo. Its three-part structure reflects the platform’s motto: “Explore. Share. Connect.”
The logo also symbolises dynamism. This arises, on the one hand, from the reorganisation and reordering of topics and contributions, and on the other hand, from the networking opportunities between individuals and institutions that the platform offers.
Implementation of the platform is currently on hold for organisational reasons.
