Info-Flyer und Illustration für die Frauen- und Gleichstellungsbeauftragte der Freien Universität Berlin
Die Frauen- und Gleichstellungsbeauftragte der Freien Universität Berlin beauftragte grafikbuero damit, einen Infoflyer für die Anlaufstelle zu gestalten. Hierbei galt es, eine Grafik für dieses Thema zu entwickeln, die ansprechend und modern aber visuell nicht abgegriffen wirkt.
Das schlichte Emblem des sich überlagernden weiblichen und männlichen Kopfes im Profil wird durch die dazu gewählte comichafte Display-Schrift stimmig ergänzt. Die Schrift wurde im Druckprozess mit einem 3D-Lack überzogen und hebt sich somit haptisch und optisch von der sonst mit Softtouch-Folie überzogenen Karte ab.
Im zweiten Teil dieses Auftrags entstand eine freie Illustration zum Thema „Vereinbarkeit von Familie und Studium/Beruf“, die eine alltägliche Situation dieses Themenfeldes geschlechterneutral darstellt.
The Women’s and Equal Opportunities Officer at Freie Universität Berlin commissioned grafikbuero to design an information flyer for the contact point. The task was to develop a graphic for this topic that was appealing and modern but did not look visually hackneyed.
The simple emblem of overlapping female and male heads in profile is complemented by the comic-style display font chosen for the design. The font was coated with a 3D varnish during the printing process, making it stand out both haptically and visually from the rest of the card, which is coated with soft-touch foil.
The second part of this assignment involved creating a free illustration on the topic of ‘balancing family and studies/career,’ which depicts an everyday situation related to this topic in a gender-neutral way.
